The Story of Liveto
When an events professional, an IT entrepreneur and a lawyer met in 2014, the conversation about a revolutionary platform for the ticketing market began. The vision was to create a service that would look like an event organiser's, and would be downright endearing to use. This is how Liveto was born.
Liveto was originally intended to be a cloud service specialising in ticketing, but it soon became apparent that the market was highly competitive, so they set out to find their own thing and differentiator. This is how the concept of event sales was born in 2016 , and Liveto was the first in the world to introduce it. Liveto made it possible for an event shop (Dropshop®) to be hosted on a client's website, enabling the event organiser to sell products for the first time in an e-commerce-like way. This was and still is a winning way to commercialise events. Liveto continued to grow at an accelerated pace and by 2017 the platform was already used in 10 countries.
March 2020 will go down in the history books of the events industry, when the entire market came to a standstill. Liveto decided to face the challenges of the crisis as a team - not a single employee was laid off and no wages were cut. The team quickly set out to build the new tools that the changing industry now desperately needed - creating growth out of the crisis! Liveto implemented a range of tools for commercial streaming and built a prototype of its own virtual event platform in autumn 2020. As a result of this development, Liveto grew, so instead of layoffs, the company began to grow its staff and recruit more top event professionals to its winning team. The crisis was turned into growth and now the company is stronger than ever!
Now Liveto has grown into a complete event platform for live, virtual and hybrid events. Despite strong customer-driven development, the company's mission has always remained the same: to help events succeed.
